Lil get away !!!

Honestly, I was impressed by the location. The only thing that Sabbar me was the photos online not knowing that it is a two family home house. I didn’t really expect it to be , But with the space we were able to work everything out the beds in the main bedrooms are very small so for tall people it’s a little uncomfortable considering me and my partner are almost 6 feet tall and then the other couple I had was tall as well, the mini room that has the single bed is for a little girl or child to sleep in. Pull out couch is pretty comfortable but the house is very small . And very fragile with the antiques defenitley a beautiful property and adored the little garden outside

Lovely Home

The Wesley Cottage is a lovely home. It was very well stocked with everything guests need. Just a 10 minute walk to the beach in Ocean Grove as well as steps from the bridge to the restaurants, bars, and vintage shops of Asbury Park.

Claustrophobic

The nice things I will say about the property is that it was conveniently located near family and friends. The neighborhood was nice. The gas stove was appreciated. The negatives were while the furnishings may be described as antique, I will describe as tired. The couch was very uncomfortable. Considering the accommodations, the price was out of line especially off season. The second bathroom, described in the prior reviews as a closet does not amply define the space. It is located in the kitchen and is maybe 30" wide and is only suitable for a male to urinate. The parking near the property was hit or miss and presented a challenge on load in and load out days. My husband loves to cook and we believed that we could have family and friends over for meals. The house was too small and drafty to have such dinners. Working in the kitchen proved to be a challenge due to size and lack of counter space.

Fine but keep your expectations in check

Parking - awful 2nd bathroom is functional but it is a converted broom closet. The cleaners were still there an after an hour after check in time. House is in a good location and well maintained.

Great location

Beautiful historic duplex. A bit smaller than expected. Instructions included leaving dishes in dishwasher which was misleading since there was no dishwasher. Overall was sufficient for our family stay.

Cute Home

This home was very quaint and eclectic. The location was perfect for us to get to Asbury Park and it was a short walk to Main Street Shops and restaurant’s.

Perfect beach cottage

My 1st VRBO rental and am extremely pleased. The scheduling was simple and all was accurate. The owners pride shows in the cleanliness and wonderful little amenities. A quaint and well updated cottage, yet plenty of room for 2 parents and tein 9yr olds. I will definitely rent this wonderful home again. Thank you

Ocean Grove Quirky

This is a typical, quirky, Ocean Grove property. Small, but efficient, eclectic style, clean, and well appointed. It gives you quick access to the center of Asbury, and yet a quiet neighborhood, out of the fray. It is an easy walking distance to Ocean Grove or Asbury Park beaches. The property managers are responsive and friendly. All in all a great stay.

The property description was inaccurate. The property is old and needs updating. This is NOT a vacation property. No body should have security cameras on in iN the house! Good reviews? Why.

Very quaint sea town summer house

We came to Jersey for a wedding and stayed the entire weekend at Dan and Reena’s Place. The house is located next to the Wesley lake which brings you via a footbridge to Abury Park where you’ll find a lot of restaurants and some shops. Ideal for a family who want to enjoy a holiday at the shores. The house has three bedrooms, a bathroom and a toilet/ shower down the stairs. The house is spaceous and clean. Beds were comfortable. Dan was very communicative and responded promptly to any query. We were really thankful for him accommodating to our needs as we were traveling with a couple of friends and two little babies. Thank you again Dan!

Relaxing TImes in Ocean Grove NJ

A quaint Victorian tucked away in Ocean Grove is a great weekend escape. All Ocean Grove activities and those on the south side of Asbury Park are within walking distance. The house is clean and comfortable - there were 3 of us - but the kitchen and bathrooms are very small. We had great weather, so we were out and about. The owners are very pleasant and cooperative, wonderful to work with. We would return to the house, but would not recommend for more than 3-4 people.
