"Just a one night stay. Superior twin / double with lagoon view. View was impressive. Very short walk to beach. Small room but very comfortable. Juliet balcony so not big enough to sit on but lovely sitting in room with balcony door open looking over lagoon. Excellent breakfast buffet with cooked breakfast options, cold meats, smoked salmon, cereals and fruit. Great value for money in February."

"A beautiful villa which was very clean and had everything you would need. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had every utensil we needed. The closeness of Pingo Doce supermarket which was 10 minutes away meant we were never without fresh fish, meat , salad and wine. It was great to have the swimming pool to come back to after a day at the local beach in Foz Do Arelho, our favourite and surrounded by wonderful restaurants. We would definitely go back again and enjoy the surroundings even more. Whilst there we visited the Bay of Obidos, Nazare and Peniche. The whole area was beautiful and the beaches were stunning."

"We loved our stay, the house was so well equipped for a range of children and perfect set up for a few families. Ample space and we loved exploring all the surrounding areas. It felt sleepy but there was enough to explore and do that meant we were never bored. Bike rides, the lagoon, the little local village, gorgeous towns… we can’t recommend the house ans location enough."

"Plenty of space and facilities for our big family group. Local town and Historic Obidos are great visits. Lagoon beaches are feally interesting and fun."

"We stayed at Villa Foz for nine nights, there were 10 of us ranging in age from 2- 65. I would say a car is essential as everything is at least a 10 minute drive away with the bigger supermarkets being about 15 minutes away. You can walk to the beach and to Foz but this takes about an hour. The Villa is beautiful, in a quiet street of 4 houses. The view is amazing and overlooks the lagoon; the photos really don’t do the views justice. The house is spacious with a fantastic range of bedrooms; the front two over looking the lagoon. The main bathroom and master bedroom en-suite were both a good size, although you can’t use both showers at once with out loosing water pressure so this took a bit of planning! The kitchen and dining area are both well equipped and a nice bottle of red wine was left for our arrival. The pool is lovely; perfect for the age of the children with us. It is entirely open so children really do need constant supervision. You can also access the garden/ pool from the road. The paving is very uneven around the pool so a lot of trip hazards to be mindful of. The BBQ area is not as pictured but perfectly satisfactory. There is only one outdoor table and chairs which is situated on the porch balcony area; nice enough but cushions would’ve been good. You will need plenty of insect repellent of an evening. The table tennis table as listed was unusable but this didn’t hinder our trip. Overall we had a wonderful time and would recommend if you had a car."

"Lovely house, lagoon area has breeze even at height of summer in August. Good base, Obidos, 20 mins away, is a medieval town with very impressive castle. Beautiful buildings with local artists selling paintings and prints, plenty of good restaurants. Lisbon is an hour away. A car is essential to get around, as the house is situated up a forested hill above lagoon. Excellent walks and runs around the lagoon, which is only 15 mins away by foot. Lots of activities available, we opted for kayaks which were very good value - €15 for an hour for a double or €10 for a single. Really comfortable and proper seats even for us middle aged with back issues. This is a beautiful, quiet area, with lots of interesting nature including flamingoes in August. There are any number of fantastic beaches within 15 mins to 30 mins away, Praia del Rey being the closest."

"Fabulous villa in a perfect location. Beautifully appointed villa with lovely touches like the welcome hamper on arrival. The pool was great and offered stunning views of the ocean and lagoon. The location is quiet and feels very "local" which we loved. We ate in the restaurants on the beach front (2 minute walk) for both dinner and breakfast. Food was great and service friendly. We can't wait to come back."

"Excellent Villa with pool. Villa is extremely private which we enjoyed. An extremely quiet location which was what we all needed. A few restaurants within a short drive but the property had an amazing gas bbq which we used a lot. Excellent location for golf and water sports. Beautiful beaches close by but, a car is essential to make the most of this beautiful area. Great location for exploring Obidos, Peniche and Nazare. Owners were always on hand to answer any questions. Amazing!!!"
