"This property is beautiful and the location is perfect for exploring the Black Forest. We did experience a couple of challenges, but the host was fantastic and did everything he could to put things right and quickly. It is very isolated here, so no nipping to the shop, but it’s exactly what we wanted. Kids would love it here. So much for them to do. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt in dem „großen Tiny House“. Man fühlt sich sofort wie daheim 😊 Alles ist liebevoll, individuell gestaltet, durchdacht und gemütlich. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen, zusätzlich gibt es noch Extras wie ein Trampolin und eine eigene Bergbahn (bei der sogar die Durchsagen und Türöffnung noch funktionieren). Auf der Veranda und dem Garten ist man wunderbar ungestört mit Weitblick ins schöne Umland - herrlich zum Grillen oder den Sonnenuntergang...

"Es ist kein Hotel,aber für unser Familientreffen war es ideal. Küche und Aufenthaltsraum lassen den früheren Gasthof erkennen. Die Lage ist einzigartig!"

"The house is located in a small and peaceful village in the Northern Black Forest. It is huge. Perfect for a big group/family. It is equipped with everything (incliding a nice sauna) and all the equipment worked perfectly. Big kitchen, nice dining room, good beds. Highly recommended."

"This is a perfect holiday location....the apartment has everything you need & was spotlessly clean. Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. We stayed 11 nights & used the train on the Konus card scheme every day bar 1.....great for taking the stress away & having a German beer or 2! Anja was fantastic in welcoming us & giving lots of tips on where to eat etc....she was always at the end of the phone if we had a question....

"Ruhige Lage, perfekt zum ausspannen. Umgebung bietet viele Möglichkeiten für kurze oder längere Wanderungen Terrasse ideal für die Abendsonne zu genießen , nur der aussenbereich müsste mal ein wenig hergerichtet werden."

"la casa es mas bonita en persona wue en la foto. Eramos un grupo de 9 y todas las camas eran comodisimas. Hemos estado muy comodos. Teniamos productos de la zona para defustar de regalo, un detalle muy bonito. Las habitaciones y zonas comunes muy espaciosas. Todos super limpio. La dueñs de la casa muy agradable. El pueblo está muy bien ubicado. Muy recomendable. Muchas gracias."

"Lovely house in a very picturesque village. Close to shops and train station. Walking and hiking routes to suite all abilities. Only issue was the roadworks which made getting around by car more difficult."

"A wonderful accommodation in a quiet, picturesque village within driving distance to many points of interest in the Black Forest. The accommodation itself is very well equipped and spacious for a large group. Nothing beats waking up to birdsong and postcard views every morning. My only gripe would be that most instructions in the property are written solely in German. Translated versions for overseas visitors would help greatly. Other then that, perfect."

"The manor was a perfect German style get away! Plenty of space, nicely decorated and fully equipped with everything needed. Loved the area and grounds! Highly recommend."

"We had such a nice stay, the whole ground floor was ours. The house was very clean and had a surprisingly well stocked kitchen. We had everything we needed to cook. The living room was spacious with nice balcony to have our breakfast. The supermarket is 10 mins walk and stocks everything we needed. Our hosts the Klocke family were amazing and very accomodating. They helped us a lot with good recommendations. A great place to stay to trek in the Black Forest or visit the near town Baden-Baden."

"The pictures do not do this place justice. The owners are wonderful, the available amenities excellent and the property caters to everything we wanted. Everything was spotless, and as a group of 7, there is loads of room for everyone. We really cannot rate this property and the owners highly enough. We will be looking to rebook in the future."
