"The location is beautiful, check in and out we’re very easy. The hosts excellent and informative. There are so many cycle routes in the local area we could have stayed for weeks to explore them all. The property is spacious and very well equipped. The view from the deck is lovely. Overall a very pleasant stay."

"We booked the house with three families with small children for a short 4-day vacation and it was completely unsuitable for families. Details follow: - [ ] The entire house was not "clean". All floors were dirty, dusty everywhere and bathrooms and toilets were also very dirty and unkempt - according to the owner, a cleaning lady was sent over 2.5 days later. "The best gite we’ve stayed in, with lots of lovely small touches. If we were really picky the pool could be a touch bigger, and there would be seating outside rather than on a covered terrace (which was hot in the heatwave we experienced). But this place comes highly recommended! The wine couldn’t be more local, and the owners Richard and Monique and their family can’t do enough for you!"

"Me and my partner chose to stay here with our dog as we had not visited Alsace before. The property is in a great position in a lovely quiet village with easy road and rail access to Strasbourg. Bruno the owner was very welcoming and the property is clean and full of lots of interesting historical pieces of art and furniture. There is plenty of space with three bedrooms and the kitchen is well fitted out with all modern appliances. I would highly recommend this property."

"This is a quiet, comfortable house in a stunning, untouristy location. Lucienne is very nice and helpful. There are lots of great walks, on the doorstep and a short drive away. Don't miss Castle Falkenstein! We went to Wissembourg, Strasbourg and the Maginot line fort Schoenenbourg (which you can visit without a guided tour, unlike Four A Chaux, which by the way doesn't offer English language tours). Having the pool table is fun. We enjoyed our stay."
