"Friendly staff, who swiftly managed to sort an issue out with our booking when we arrived. Plenty of parking. Comfortable stay. Clean room, but we did have to ask for more towels as only provided with enough for 1 person. They sorted straight away for us. Handy bar and food - but only a small kitchen so menu limited. Hubbie was disappointed with his burger, but my spaghetti carbonara was nice. Hotel a little out of the way but there's a lovely Bakery / Cafe across the car park - can recommend."

"We were travelling with a dog and our room was 200 metres from hotel up the hill. It was clean and spacious with kitchen so more of an apartment. We had breakfast at hotel. We used paid for parking at hotel (12euro) as the area is heavily traffic restricted. Hotel is in historic centre minutes from all the main sites."

"Mrs Hobl and her family could not have any more accommodating. The hotel has old world charm and the outdoor garden area is marvelous. We were treated like family. My son stayed there 24 years ago which is why we went back and we couldn't be any happier that we returned."

"Beautiful hotel with excellent location. However, the website needs to clarify there is no elevator. There are four stories. Older or handicap will not be able to manage. The hotel has nobody to help. There are two rooms on first floor but you will not know to book them because the website does not not make this clear."

"The room was very very clean and charming. Breakfast was a fabulous array of breads, fruit, cheeses and cold cuts. All served in a precious old fashioned dining room. It’s certainly not modern or up scale, but the charm and location and sheer serendipity of the place made me very sad to leave."
