The weekly rate is also unmatched, making it a great value for anyone looking for a clean and affordable place to stay. I truly appreciate the hospitality and helpfulness of the staff. Waterfall Wilderness Retreat Bordering the Ozark National Forest

"This property is an absolute slice of heaven! You don’t have to even leave for the most amazing private waterfall and swimming hole you’ll find in Arkansas. The home is just as wonderful. Completely updated, very clean, full of thoughtful extra touches-clean robes, games, books, an extremely well equipped kitchen, even the towels were folded in some origami way that I could never do. They looked so pretty I didn’t want to use them! (We did, but reluctantly, followed by a miserable attempt at recreating said origami.) The host was extremely communicative, answered within a few minutes, and they suggested some great things to do and places to visit and eat. We didn’t do as much as we planned, only because you quite literally never have to leave to hike, explore, swim, and play in waterfalls. There are actually 3 within eye sight of the deck and you just follow the creek to experience each of them. Don’t worry about a thing and just sit on the fantastic back porch(es) and contemplate life and why you ever have to leave. We will be back again and again. Thank you so much to our gracious hosts, who did everything and more to make this experience one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. We’ve now discovered Heaven on earth."

"If you like peace and quiet with unparalled views, this is the place for you. Depending on your cell phone provider, coverage in the area is sketchy due to the terrain. We are not tied to our phones and Wi-Fi was excellent so this wasn't an issue for us. It was so nice to get away from the rat race. Everything was provided. All we needed was the food we ate."

"Great place to stay. Sitting on the porch in the evening, going down to the river, all great. We had a thunderstorm on Saturday, and watching the mist coming up from the river and obscuring the mountains was awesome."

"The wagon was clean and comfortable. Was disappointed that there was no access to the swimming hole. The place could’ve used a picnic table.. there was a lot of trash around the dumpster when we left. Overall, it was a very nice stay."
