"Clean room, wait staff, valet service, good food at the Recess restaurant all excellent great central location! Will come back"

"Quite, peaceful and just all around great access to city, not hard to find. Place was clean and bed was comfortable and cozy! Will definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a quiet, clean and comfy bed. Staff were polite and friendly! 5 out 5 for me"

"Roomy, comfortable units. Excellent location. Frie dly staff."

"the location was great! staff was helpful! unfortunately if you stay in a shared room and you are put on the top bunk, you get no privacy! while the bottom bunk does, so keep that in mind. when I usually stay in hostels, there is a kitchen or at least a shared space for the people staying at the hostel, kex does not have one. they do have a restaurant that is open to everyone which is nice but there were times where it wasn’t very convenient for me. overall nice stay for one night!"

"One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at in a long time! Spacious, well-furnished, cozy room. Comfortable bed. Excellent shower. Friendly, helpful staff. My one complaint is that it would have been nice to have a floor lamp near the comfy chair. That’s literally the only thing I can complain about. Everything else was perfect. I will definitely stay here again if I’m in Portland."

"Staff was friendly. Room was nice."

"Location"

"This place had kind staff and great food and great atmosphere. There happened to be live music when I stayed. Shared Bathrooms are small with just enough room for a toilet, but there was a sink in my room."

"Fun tiny house cluster with unique identities: we stayed in the beach cottage and it was cute. Very cozy but ok for two with basic but thoughtful touches. Common area amenities were nice plus close, safe nearby neighborhood parking helped for a quick overnight."
