"Although the hotel is a little dated and in need of some modernisation, everything else was very good. Staff were cheerful and helpful, the pool facilities were ok and the food was excellent - top quality and great value for money."

"Great hotel Have stayed here 3 times Great buffet breakfast and lovely evening meal at the on site restaurant On site parking so handy Out of town but an easy drive or bus ride into town Very handy for the airport and M5 There is a Tesco extra off to the right of the hotel about a 10-15 mins walk walk 5 min drive Rooms are clean and great beds Tea and coffee facilities are in the hall Lovely lounge downstairs to relax in Great tv facilities"

"Lovely hotel in the centre of Taunton. We had a spacious, well-appointed room on the third floor with a nice view of the town. The hotel is an older building with lots of historic details / decor so it has a nice vibe. Daily room service kept everything clean and fresh and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is amazing: steps from the high street shops, cafes and pubs - you can't beat it. We'd definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again next time were in Taunton."
