"Booked this hotel for a stop over on way home to Scotland and found a hidden gem. Set in beautiful surroundings adjacent to the canal and lovely beer garden in front of picturesque pond. The buildings and interior decor were beautiful at very reasonable room rates. Very friendly efficient staff and nice food. Couldn’t fault it for anything and will defo return. "

"For the price could not fault anything! One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in! Staff helpful and friendly. Had an issue with dinner but quickly resolved and given a complementary drink! Although we didn’t need to it was a lovely touch with the sign in the bathroom for complementary toiletries if you’d forgotten them. Towels soooo soft and choice of pillows for the bed."

"My stay was good someone helped with suitcase to room 8 as no lift Girl on reception was not sure about my request for walk in shower don't think she understood what I required Room had a walk in shower. Staff were excellent other than that"

"Beautiful surroundings, quaint room at the top of the main house… I was lovely and cozy and safe which is the most important thing as a solo traveller. I’ve stayed many times but first time experiencing the spa and loved it. I would definitely recommend. "
