"The reception area and ceilings. I’ve been going to the Palmer since 1965. This time with wife celebrating our 54th wedding anniversary. Just a wonderful place to stay. Only complaint is the price of cocktails. Two house old fashions with tax and tip costs about $50 dollars. That’s just too much for two drinks. Hope to visit next year. Highly recommend the Palmer House. The best of Chicago from two senior world travelers."
