"This house was a perfect layout for us travelling as a family of 4 and a friend. The house had everything we needed and 10 minute walk into town. We did have a hire car so only walked twice we ended up hiring scooters which was perfect 2mins into the main st. I love palm cove last year we stayed in a resort but was frustrated trying to get a chair at the pool. This house was amazing only ate in 2 nights so didn’t take full advantage but it was so nice to have down time around the entertaining...

"Lovely property with a set up that was perfect for our extended family group. Older couple with daughter, son-in-law and 2 kids, 6 and 3. The kids loved to pool and were in it every day. The location is in a quiet, leafy area just south of the main streets of Port Douglas a short 8 mins. away by car. The photos of the site are exactly as depicted. Plenty of towels and pool towels all provided."

"The family of 10 was very comfortable in the property with lots of space and the right combination of beds and bathrooms . The pool was amazing and outdoor area was perfect . The kitchen is very well equipped with all the appliances we needed. Also , lots of fridge and freezer space and the washer and dryer were fantastic. Air conditioning worked really well and we highly recommend this property . We had cars and so the fact that we weren’t right in town or on the beach wasn’t a problem ....

"Pool was lovely, very quiet area. Beds were nice and comfy. Kitchen well equipped and very large bathroom. Private outside area. Was clean and tidy but could do with a deep spring clean. "

"Location walking distance to local.tavern and esplanade. House suited for large group. Had some minor maintenance issues that were dealt with in a timely manner even considering the area had just been through cyclone jasper. House is old and definitely needs some tlc but for its age it served its purpose. Could definitely suggest a second fridge even downstairs for beverages. We went through a lot of ice, and some days couldnt get any local.due to being sold out, but it was over the xmas period...

"Staying at house Heliconia was one of the best family holidays we've had. The property is beautiful and well kept, our host was very accomodating, easy to get a hold of and everything. The gas bottle was low and ran out when we had used the bbq during our stay. Martin was more than happy to arrange it to be replaced. Everything we needed was provided for and another convenience was the fact house is very close to the main esplanade, beach and shopping centre. All walking distance. We definitely...

The children enjoyed the pool and there was plenty of space for our family of 4. We were within walking distance from the beach, shops and restaurants. "Our family of 6 stayed at the Coral Sands Resort for a family holiday/special event. Beautiful clean accommodation situated just out of Cairns on the way to Port Douglas. Lovely walkways to the pool area. Staff helpful and lovely to deal with. The location is amazing! Beautiful views of the beach and a 60sec walk to beautiful restaurants and COFFEE! We will definitely be coming back. "
