No boat parking

After booking at the River Ranch at Cedar Shore for a weekend fishing trip, was very disappointed when I checked in to learn that they had changed my room reservation to the Hotel. I booked the river ranch because I have a boat and needed space to park boat, there is none at the Hotel!

River Ranch met our need for a place to stay the night as we traveled through the state. The room was clean and in overall good condition. It met the description and had the amenities listed. I liked the separate entrance for each room and parking right out front. There were a few small items that needed maintenance but nothing that caused a significant inconvenience (toilet was loose so it wobbled slightly when you sat down and the bathroom fan didn't look like it was quite right in the ceiling but it worked). My only negative was the service at check in. The desk worker was polite but other than giving me the key and directions to the room, there was zero information provided about where anything was, hours, not even the Wi-Fi password. I assumed that was because the information would be in the room but there was no information there either.

Super hotel

Nous sommes arrivés dans cet hotel et nos chambres n'étaient pas prêtes. Nous avons attendu un peu et personne n'est venu les faire donc je suis retournée à la réception et là ils nous ont changer de chambres. Celles-ci étaient parfaites, très spacieuse avec une très bonne literie. Cet hotel est dans un très beau cadre, la vue est magnifique. Le restaurant est très bien. Nous avons pris un très bon petit déjeuner amèricain.

First of all, arrived at the property and they gave away our room. We made reservations about a month in advance. Then they “upgraded” us to a room on the river with a balcony ( It was normally 189.00.) NOT an upgrade at all! The room overlooked the outside bar, which was fine, but there was a stage for the band that would play until almost 10:00. I know that doesn’t seem late for some but after traveling all day we were tired. They happen to mention there was a wedding at the facility, on the other end, well guess what roamed the halls until 3AM? Drunk guests that were screaming, yelling, singing, knocking on doors... At check out they said they were aware of those guest and still didn’t stop it. A really awful experience. P.S. you need to clean the entire entry to this building, it was so dirty.

This could be an exceptional experience but the property needs some renovation. The location is beautiful, there are several amenities but our room was dark and dated. There is a restaurant and pool inside and a grill and bar outside.looking out over the river.

Billigt och ostädat

Det var ett nödvändigt stopp på vägen över Syddakota. Omgivningen är helt okej! Det var fint nere vid flodstranden på morgonen. Tyvärr var det ostädat med smuts och hår i hörnen på badrummet och fullt med insekter. Utanför fanns det en fågel som sjöng ljuvligt och gulliga grodor, men när grannen duschade så lät det som den stod bredvid min säng. Kvinnan i lobbyn hade dålig koll och svarade svävande och felaktigt när jag frågade efter frukost nästa morgon. Vi blev överraskade av priserna men behövde äta. Vi var förespeglade buffé och det var meny och bordsservering.

I liked the resort feel and the view. The somewhat of a cabin setup was also very unique. I did not like how the room was not entirelt clean. Wrappers on the floor from a previous renter and spider webs in doorways.

I will never stay here again I was there Friday to Sunday afternoon and during that stay I met 2 good staff the rest are rude and disrespectful. The room seemed to be starting to fall apart from loose door handles to doors that had gaps on the one side of the top to rubbing on the other. The rooms were already expensive but we were told we would get a discount for the wedding and when brought up to to one of the front desk ladies she said well pay this and we’ll figure that out later.... tried to go back later and it was a disaster and my family and my husbands family will never stay here again because I wasn’t the only one having issues with staff or rooms.

Great place if you like bugs.

Bugs. Lots of bugs. Live bugs. Dead bugs. Bugs bugs bugs. The check in desk is across the street in another facility with a different name, which is only annoying if you don’t know about it and you call to confirm your reservation and no one bothers to tell you about it and your gps takes you to the check in and you’re left wondering if you’re in the right spot. Which happened. But mostly...bugs bugs and more bugs.
