"We ended up staying at another property due to locals warning us that the area where this property is situated is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS and that the would not recommend us going there at all. We were expecting to arrive after dark thus did not want to take the chance."

"We were near the centre of Durban, everything was easy to reach by car. The host was very friendly and helpful throughout. The accomodation was generously sized and cleaned regularly. Living in Durban has challenges but our stay was worthwhile."

"After weeks of planning, we were greatly disappointed to receive a cancellation notice just a few hours before check-in. The host claimed a family emergency required all bookings to be canceled.However, after investigating, we discovered that the real issue was a double booking, and the host chose to cancel our reservation to accommodate another guest. The host made no effort to apologize, provide alternative accommodations, or offer any assistance. As a result, we were left stranded without a...

"The accommodation is great and cozy, even if the weather is bad. You will however need to buy garbage bags if you planning on staying a while. Washing machine does tangle up the clothes and comes out drenched. You will need to bring your own washing powder. There is plenty of towels available. The place does say you can sleep 6 people but only had access to 2 bedrooms. There is no Vodacom signal but the wifi is good. The host Delia was great"

"Could not get hold of the owner. Eventually after 9pm she answered her phone, promised to make a plan to meet up and hand over keys, and then nene answered my calls from that day forward So NO I did not actually get to stay at the place and I want a complete refund as I now had to risk to find a place to stay late at night, with a child and dog in tow Explain that"

Best Staff I've ever encountered!

"I do a fair amount of travel - I truly think this property has the warmest & most hospitable staff I've ever met... Truly, each & every person I saw, passed, talked to, made an inquiry with, each was so wonderful - it really added to my experience. Being across from the Mall was great - I was able to pop over there for a mani/pedi, as well as for items at the pharmacy & grocery. Easy to Uber from there to anywhere. Felt safe & taken care of, which is always a extra important to me since I travel solo. The bar was great - fabulous bartenders & bar managers - & there was always great music playing, whether over sound system, live performers, or DJ. I could not have made a better selection for my stay in Durban! "
