"Loved everything but on the rare occasion that the temperature is hot, they do not have air condition and the windows only open 1 inch. They will bring you a fan. Otherwise the hotel was wonderful!! Beds very comfy."

"We loved this hotel. The location is amazing. You can walk right down to the beach. We saw deer frolicking in the morning. The breakfast was incredible. Probably the best breakfast I've ever had a hotel. And they were really amazing with kids. They gave my kids coloring books when we checked-in and they could do activities to get little prizes."

"We chose this hotel (original part built 1897, but we stayed in the 1950s annex wing) because it contrasted with a modern hotel we had stayed at in Copenhagen for a small group tour. This hotel is just a couple of minutes from the train station, and near many restaurants, shopping and touring options. We arrived on a very hot day (about 82F) and I opened the window a bit for some cool breeze at night... it was a little noisy but did not interfere with sleep. Excellent breakfast buffet. A special thanks to the staff at the front desk and in the restaurant.. my grandchild needed minor first aid attention during our visit and staff with very helpful with that. Lots of smiles from the staff during breakfast was a nice way to start each day!"

"We pretty much liked everything about the hotel. It is right on the water front and the surrounding areas are just beautiful. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It would be nice if the had shower gel in the bathroom. They only provided shampoo."

"Let's talk about the positives first. There is one - location. Nestled in the middle of a farm. Quiet and peaceful. Loved the surroundings. Also, the check in was quick. The property itself is nothing to rave about. It's in desperate need of maintenance. Dust, spiders everywhere. TV doesn't work. Kettle leaks. Shower is super leaky and floods the bathroom. Half of the windows don't have blinds which means at 4 AM, it's filled with light. The hostess seemed nice initially but kept insisting we pay cash so she can avoid paying taxes and fees. This was not mentioned at the time of the booking. Hotels.com charged me 27% in taxes and fees and she seemed to want to pocket it. We didn't have cash and she offered to accept card for an additional 5% fee. Absolutely ridiculous for an already expensive stay. She finally grudgingly accepted the payment through card. Plus she has this bad habit of talking over you. Does not want to listen to you anything you have to say. Overall 2 star experience for 4 star prices. Wouldn't recommend."
