Reed's Lodge

"We had a really good visit at Reed's Lodge. The property is historical so it makes sense that it wouldn't be modern or completely 100%. To be fair if we had been placed in one of the main rooms, I'm sure it might be a different story. Our room was way at the back of the property and had no theme or anything. The deadbolt didn't work, but they had put a chain lock up high. There were only outdoor chairs every few rooms so we just borrowed a chair from a few doors down. But all of that being said, the property and rooms were very clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. And the provided breakfast was better than we expected! Springerville is a cute little town. Just be warned that not everything is open or available on Sunday or Monday (which is when we were there, of course). We would stay there again if we could score a room in the main section."

"One strange thing . . . People who are not using the hot tub seem to hang around the hot tub all the time. No one used the hot tub the entire time I was there, this is probably why. I certainly didn't feel comfortable using it, it's a very small area with only a few chairs. Staff, rooms, restaurant and ambiance was first rate! Absolutely lovely!"

QUAINT COZY CABIN near East Fork, weekly and monthly rates, king bed, fireplace

"It was the perfect place to take my dog, who has a lot of anxiety issues with fireworks. There were no fireworks, and it was a nice 80 degrees. We had a relaxing 4th of July weekend. There was a fenced-off dog run for the dog to do her business. Our only issue was that we weren't emailed a code to get in (that I could find), but our host responded immediately and got us right in. I understand things can happen, but that was definitely not an issue, and we enjoyed the rest of our stay. The cabin has plenty of room, and we were able to watch some shows, including the FIFA tournament. There was a nice covered patio where we barbequed. I had some online schoolwork to do, and everyone was able to use the Wi-Fi without any issues. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, with people always walking up and down the street, many with pets. We even went to the casino, which was a short distance away."

"The cabinet was very clean with zero complaints. However, I just have missed the small print that explained the bungalow was not in the main photo but was rather in the back under the main cabin. A bit of a surprise to have the cleaning people in there for several hours cleaning and moving furniture.. quite loud. When the family for the main cabin arrived, the noise continued."
