"What an amazing experience.you walk a few steps outside your backyard and you are right on a sandy pacifac beach.You have your own private courtyard pool if the wind becomes too strong on the beach.No one can see you if you want to work on overall tan.We were there in August and could see whales sometimes from the deck overlooking the ocean.There are caretakers and a housekeeper coming often if you need anything.Swimming with the tortugas are only a few miles away.Roads are not great in area and it helps to know a little Spanish but if you don't want to go anywhere you have a fully equipped kitchen and a good hotel restaurant 200 yards away."

"This is a fantastic beach house on a very, very quiet section of beach in northern Peru. Let's be clear on what it is not - it is not in the center of a lot of action, it is not super close to a lot of activities, it is not near a bunch of restaurants, it is not near ANY night life. If you are looking for quiet, peace, rest, a comfortable stay...and the best sunset you have ever seen - this is a GREAT place. Honest assessment - the house is wonderful, but it is weathered (it's literally on the beach after all). Everything was nice, but it was also slightly worn. We felt very comfortable in the house and loved the environment, but if you're looking for true luxury resort atmosphere, you might be disappointed. The check-in and help from the on site manager was great. The cook the was provided for breakfast and lunch was EXCEPTIONAL. She picked up fresh groceries, made us wonderful breakfasts and lunches and cleaned up the kitchen after. All we had to pay additional was the cost of the groceries. Lastly - it is not hyperbole to say that we say 2 of the most fantastic sunsets we have ever seen at this property. Looked like the sun was literally going into the Pacific Ocean. I'll wrap it up by saying - this is probably the BEST VALUE we have ever gotten for a vacation rental - not the cheapest, not the nicest...but definitely the best value."

"We had just finished hiking five days the Salkantay and had full intentions of just relaxing for four days and it was absolutely perfect. The view from our room was fabulous. The bed was very comfortable. The staff very kind but the managers went above and beyond and make you feel at home. The food, wow the food was just exceptional. we ate every meal there and it was all so lovely. We hung out on in the beach chairs and swam by the pool each day. We would definitely come back for another visit."

"We stayed for 5 nights while we visited our son. We had a lovely suite with an open air kitchen and seating area and unheated plunge pool that faced directly towards the ocean. The open air seating area was a wonderful place to relax. The vibe is truly Peruvian beach vibes. The bedroom is enclosed but has its own balcony for relaxing. The shower water pressure was amazing. The restaurant was incredible Peruvian food. The breakfast was also delicious! The front desk staff and restaurant staff were incredibly kind and helpful. There are many people that work there that understand English a little bit. As is customary, none of the pools are heated. Be aware of that. The beach access in high season was easy and not crowded. The hotel is a smaller boutique hotel and that is a major plus because it never felt crowded. I highly recommend this hotel. "
