"The hotel was clean and well air conditioned. Most of the staff were very polite and helpful, with the exception of one staff member that stopped stocking breakfast items 30 minutes before the close of breakfast. When we politely asked if we could get a couple of drinks (as the fridge was empty) we were rudely told that 'she wasn't going to be stocking any more'. They were lacking waffle mix, drinks, yogurt, etc. And there was still 30 minutes left of breakfast to serve."

"Great place for a weekend. My kids love it. Melissa is a great host. It's a little spooky driving out at night for the first time but it's a lot of fun. We have stayed twice and would recommend! I recommend getting there before dark so you don't have a million bugs around the doors from the lights."

"This property is a beautiful home and a wonderful location, its on a wide body of water, we got to watch the barges go through which was neat. 3 of the rooms have doors to go outside to a porch. It has more than enough items you will need for your stay. The host are wonderful and got back with us and were great. The home is very clean and the beds all slept wonderful for all of our family. We will most definitely be back for our family get aways."
