"Went to this hotel after having a bad experience with a another hotel in town, this hotel was fantastic"

"We booked this hotel based on the photos online, but upon arrival the property was not maintained the way it was represented. There were also several sketchy individuals hanging around the location, which immediately made us uncomfortable. When we arrived, the front door was locked and we had to call the hotel for someone to come unlock it so we could enter. During check in, I asked the employee whether anyone else was staying at the hotel, and she responded that the place was vacant before saying she was “just joking.” After paying for an unexpected parking pass, we went to the rear parking lot and noticed there was not a single car there, which made the comment feel less like a joke and added to our concerns. When we reached the rear entrance, we noticed the door was being secured after hours with a chain and padlock, which further contributed to us feeling unsafe and unsettled. Due to the overall condition of the property and the safety concerns we experienced, we chose not to stay there and instead booked another hotel down the street."

"The hotel definitely has a very old, historic feel, but not much has been updated, so it shows its age. Parking wasn’t the most convenient since you have to use a parking garage, which can be a bit of a hassle. On the plus side, the location is right in the middle of everything, which makes it great if you’re planning to go out and enjoy the nightlife. Overall, it’s a decent option if you just need a place to stay for the night while you’re out partying"

"Me and my wife had a wonderful one‑night stay at The Inn on Third. From the moment we arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome—friendly, attentive, and clearly proud of their charming boutique hotel. The building has a cozy, historic character that gives it a lot more personality than the typical chain stay. My room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. Despite being in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg, it was quiet and relaxing, making it easy to unwind after a long day. I also appreciated the small touches—complimentary drinks during the evening social hour and a simple but pleasant breakfast in the morning. The location is perfect: close to restaurants, museums, and everything you’d want to explore in the area. For the price, comfort, and hospitality, The Inn on Third exceeded my expectations. I’d happily stay again."

"We really enjoyed our stay here! The building itself is incredibly atmospheric and full of character. It’s an older hotel, but that’s exactly what gives it its charm and unique personality. The interior feels cozy, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. The front desk staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. We also loved that you can grab cocktails, wine, or coffee downstairs - such a nice touch and perfect for relaxing after a walk around the city. The location is wonderful as well - everything is within walking distance, including the waterfront, restaurants, and bars. Overall, this place has a special vibe that made the stay feel memorable rather than generic. The bed linens and towels smelled amazing, and the bathroom was stocked with different little bottles of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and other essentials, which felt very thoughtful. The hotel itself was also very clean and smelled wonderful throughout. The AC was a little noisy at night, and the bathroom showed some wear and tear, but honestly, that felt forgivable considering the age and character of the building. It’s part of staying somewhere historic rather than in a modern chain hotel."
