"Evelyne and Noel were the most gracious hosts, welcoming and attentive. The property was stunningly beautiful. An absolute gem of a stay. Perfect in every way if you want a quiet countryside retreat. "

"It is a unique property, very central from beautifull places in the Dordogne. They serve the best brunch ever. And Lola is the best cook in the erea. We start with a perfect yogaclass just to slowly wake up. The owners of Le Clos are beautifull people with a perfect place at the perfect location. I love to come back. "

"Used gps on phone easy to find . About 20min outside Bergerac. Host helpful and speaks some English but family email in English so no problem with communication . Modern wooden built house . We stayed in ground floor apartment . There were also more traditional options as well. Lots of modern art and excellent comfort bed . Would recommend. "We had our wedding venue there. The staff especially Julie were all excellent. Nothing was a problem and they were accomidating with all our requests. "

"Brief overnight stay going from north to south of france. The private parking was nice, the pool was nice (for the kids, I didn't go down), the extra seating looked nice, but I didn't utilize it. The rooms, while weren't 5 star, were perfectly nice and clean. The only reason i gave it 4 stars for cleanliness was the carpet on the stairs. That should def be replaced. The owners were lovely and helpful. And the town turned out to be great as well."

"The hidden gem of Dordogne! I’m not sure where to start - the incredible hospitality, the beautiful surroundings, or the fantastic accommodations. Breakfast was sumptuous - Martine is quite the cook and many ingredients are sourced from the grounds. Whether you want to stay for a couple of nights or a week or more, there is plenty to see and do, and then you can go back and enjoy the comfort of Domaine du Pouzelaine. "
