It is set in the pretty village of Freethorpe just 3 miles from the riverside inns in the broad land village of Reedham, where boats can be hired, and visitors can enjoy a spot of fishing or simply watch the waterborne world go by. The surrounding country lanes are ideal for walking and cycling, and nearby Breydon Water is a paradise for bird watchers.

The market town of Acle is 3 miles and Winterton’s glorious beach, with its 6-mile walk offers seal watching. Cromer is famous for its seafood. The cathedral city of Norwich enjoys fine shopping, and the RSPB reserves are within easy reach. Golf and fishing available locally. The beach is 8 miles away.
