"Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!"

"The view is amazing. Each day we saw seals swim by. There is a resident eagle who would sit out on the sand right outside the window. Our grandson watched him dive and get a fish. What a thrill. We found sea glass and enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets. Maria our host was attentive and very helpful. Definitely met all expectations."

We enjoyed paddle boarding, walking around the pond, the fire pit, hot tub, and reading with gorgeous views. We weren’t expecting to feel so close to nature but we loved hearing the frogs at night, seeing fish jump, and we even spotted a deer. Truly a lovely getaway — we hope to be back in the future. "Quaint, quiet, secluded, and peaceful... The perfect place to unplug and enjoy the relaxed pace of "island time". Soaking in the private hot tub under the stars is absolutely amazing! We always travel with our dog, Penny. It's often difficult to find places that accept pets; so, this cabin is a true gem! Lorry is a great host who truly wants you to enjoy your stay. "What a beautiful, thoughtfully constructed cabin! It had all the amenities you could want. Lots of great information about the area. We had thought it would be a little closer to the beach but the walk really wasn’t too bad. The road noise was a bit irritating when you hanging out outside but didn’t affect our sleep. Thanks for sharing your cabin!"

"Back deck is beautiful with great view….however all furniture was covered with dust and pollen so we could not sit out and enjoy it. We had a comforter and two folded towels in bathroom covered with dog hair from previous guest. We just washed and used anyway. Despite those two small issues, we had a great time and the house was adorable, well supplied, and dog friendly. We would definitely stay there again!"

"We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The view was absolutely amazing - the river and Mt. Baker are gorgeous. Everything is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed eating meals, playing games and working a puzzle on the large dining room table. The proximity to North Cascades was very convenient and allowed us to explore the park multiple times. Communication with the owner, Nick was pleasant and timely. Would love to come back someday!"
