"The Sylvan Inn was the perfect base for our exploration of the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the breakfast provided by the friendly staff.
The Inn’s location is also very convenient for walking into Glen Arbor to enjoy the galleries and restaurants. We hope to return again!"
"Calling this a "resort" is misleading. It is essentially a motel on the lake. We took the only room available, which happened to be an accessible room, and discovered that it had no closet whatsoever. There were two short hooks on the wall made out of plumbing pipes where you are supposed to hang all your clothes. This was very disappointing and a constant nuisance, and not something you would ever expect in a real "resort."
