"Very nice property, enquired on checkin about VIP upgrade and told no rooms available, when in my room above entertainment area the noise was unbearable so went to reception who then moved me to another room. (All though full) so they do not give upgrades to VIP guests. Gorgeous hotel would stay again "

"The hotel though old had a certain charm and we were made to feel welcome during our stay. The room was cozy but plenty of storage. Bed was very comfortable and I slept well during the stay especially as I'm a fussy sleeper. Breakfast was good with both continental and cooked on offer. Dinner was equalling good, I can throughly recommend the burger. All staff were extremely polite, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Special mention to Chris (restaurant manager) who looked after us at meal times. Will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you"

"I rang ahead as I knew I’d be late to arrive. The lady on the phone was very bubbly, polite and most of all; helpful! When I got to the hotel, the nights team were cleaning the reception area but rushed to assist me through the doors. The gentleman behind reception was very knowledgeable about local traffic and the best routes to take for my onward journey and even gave me a complimentary breakfast voucher as I didn’t know if I’d booked breakfast or if it was included or not. Don’t get me wrong, the decor is dated in places BUT it is clean and the beds are very comfortable!"

The location is perfect - right on the seafront, but set back which reduces the noise from the road and walking distance to the old Town. It is a classic Georgian building and beautifully refurbished with lovely large comfortable rooms, complete with fridge and large screen tv. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We have stayed in Hastings many times over 15 years and this is our favourite hotel. "

"Greeted by the GM. made us feel at home..very convenient location by foot to where we needed to go. Very clean and smelled good :-) excellent shower in the ugraded room. very comfortable beds. A must stay!!"
