"We spent an amazing week at the Mad River Ski Chalet. My kids declared this the best Vermont house we've ever stayed in (we go every year, we've stayed at a lot of houses). It's rural enough, while still being close to things you need. Waitsfield is a great town - lots of stores and restaurants. Easy drive to Burlington. But more importantly - the house is just great. Very comfortable, beautifully updated, great deck with incredible views. We definitely plan to stay here again."
"Charming! This pleasant inn reminded me of something in a Miss Marple novel. My room was clean and well-furnished. Staff was pleasant; there doesn’t seem to be often someone at the front desk, but my call to the duty phone was answered quickly. I didn’t take advantage of the free breakfast, but it looked and smelled great. My one complaint is the parking lot: the lines are so close together it was hard to park and then hard to open my car door. Overall: a lovely place and I'd stay there again."
