"We stayed here on our last night in Madeira because we had an early morning flight the next day and the hotel is super close to the airport bus stop. You can't beat the location of this hotel. It is in the heart of downtown Funchal so you are within walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops, plus the beautiful waterfront. "Super convenient for airport, beach, food and bis station for local activities and rest of island. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and great balcony with sea view. Good buffet breakfast with a few options including cold, cooked, and sweet. Great location, with free parking a short walk (paid parking closer by, but rarely spaces available). New bathroom and amazing shower. We really enjoyed our stay, highly recommended."

"The staff were great. The view from the room was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. The road up to the hotel was a little scary the first few times. Its at arount 1500 meters so be prepared for your ears to pop if you head out anywhere. "

"Our staying was not perfect but very reasonably good. Hotel is a "bit" outdated but location is good with perfect nature exposure. The room was huge with ocean view.
