"We stayed at this property in May 2026. While the staff were extremely kind and helpful, the air conditioner in our room was not working and they refused to change our room since they were all booked and declined a refund/compensation too. When you pay £137 a night the least you expect is for the air conditioner to work especially when it’s been a hot day and you’re on the top floor of the hotel. Pretty poor for a ‘Marriott’ hotel. Avoid at all costs."

"Room was good for the non-budget price and comfort more than ample for the days I stayed. Swimming pool and facilities overall excellent, very friendly and good atmosphere. Didn't take breakfast - in too much of a hurry each morning. Did use the Bistro within the hotel (but run independently) and that was good value. "Was our 3rd or 4th time staying. Car park good. Area around is lovely. Reception area is really nice. Room is clean, large. Bar food was good. Staff were good. Breakfast was okay - staff there were lovely. Pool, changing rooms are nice but steam room not working which was a shame. Welcome arrival from reception always seems lukewarm."
