"Gorgeous location. Excellent food. Comfy beds. Sturdy but soft pillows. Wonderful water pressure in the shower. The grounds are soooo beautiful. Like it’s been built right into the surrounding nature. Quiet. The food was delish. Bar at the Tavern is so fun. The staff are incredibly sweet. And knowledgeable about everything. Only negative: we called twice for them to come clean our room, even though we had declined room service earlier. They said we could call if we wanted it at any time....

"We decided to stay here on our drive back up to WA. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member at the front desk for check in. Everything went smoothly and they offered my daughter and I a free drink which was a nice touch. The building itself, and property, were very well maintained. The room itself was quite large and actually perfect if you have a dog with you as you could easily put the dog in the extra space that can be closed off from the bedroom. "The shower -tub, did NOT drain well....water built up to have standing water. Also, I wanted to take a quick wash up with only having the tub water, the shower head drippled water on my hair. This was the only negative Also wish there had been instructions for using the TV remote. I had to call for handyman service to show me HOW to use the remote."

"Other than the tired, dated decor, this hotel was excellent. Our room was a 2 room suite with a nice size balcony with Mountain View. There are several pools and hot tubs, both inside and out, which was nice after hiking all day. On site restaurant served delicious food and had amazing views of cascades. Closest hotel to Yosemite."
