"Very pleasant stay. Staff very friendly and made me feel welcome. Room was spotlessly clean but dated with loads of character. Some noise from the bar downstairs, but I wasn't bothered by that as you would expect it being a busy restaurant on a main road. Very quiet after closing time and road was quite as well. Good value for money. "

Also as I have limited appetite choice was restricted. Overall would certainly recommend staying here also dog friendly so daughters family could bring their dog and all atebrsakfast together"

"A perfect base for a seven day exploration of the Yorkshire Dales. Brilliant to arrive back each day knowing we had off street private parking and secure WiFi for business needs and walking distance to a selection of eatery’s for dinner. Of course each day commenced with an a la carte breakfast menu, set in a dining room with beautiful white linen tablecloths and a most gracious hostess. All staff went above and beyond to cater for our requirements. Thank you. "

"Fantastic public house which serves great food. There is not much to do in the surrounding Area but its a great place to meet up with friends or family and dine together. Rooms are failrly reasonably priced and clean. Shame there isnt an option for breakfast."

"The Old Coach House is absolutely excellent. Our room was spacious, had everything we could want and all of a very high quality. It was warm, comfy and looked great too, with huge original wooden beams, large luxurious armchairs and tasteful decor. The breakfasts were super too; lots of choice and tasty fresh fruit like berries or pineapple and choice of juices. Home made granola pots featured if you wanted a luxury treat. Only found out, from another guest, how to get back in the front door using the key fob. The same, l heard from another guest who had heard from another guest, about being able/aloud to use the fridge in the kitchen for storage "

"Lovely bungalow with a secure garden for the children to play out in. The location is perfect, really quiet and peaceful, the perfect place to unwind in the countryside. Easy access to lots of stunning places to visit. The bungalow is well equipped with everything you may need and Mary the host is lovely, helpful and welcoming. Thank you Mary!"

"Lovely place, great location on the high street. Private, off street parking is very helpful - the entrance to it is through a very narrow archway which was a tight squeeze for an SUV. The property itself is well kept & equipped. Very clean and nicely furnished. Communication from the owner by text on the day with all the check in info was very helpful."
