"I stayed here on 02/03/2023 the pictures of the hotel itself looked great but the condition of the hotel is terrible and very deceiving. First of all, the AC unit was taped together with cellotape. There was no hot water, the room was infested with mosquitos, I slept an hour but then woke up to having been bitten all over and at 4am a very large droning noise started which when I queried it, was the water pump. "Overall, the house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was in a good location and served our needs well during our stay.However, I was very uncomfortable with the check-in process. This was my third vacation home stay in the past year in Dhaka, and I have stayed in vacation rentals in different countries. This was the first time I was asked to provide a photocopy of my passport before checking in. In all my previous experiences, we simply used our booking confirmation or access code to enter the property. Sharing a copy of my passport with someone I did not know felt unnecessary and raised privacy concerns. It would have been helpful if this requirement had been clearly communicated before booking.There were also a few minor issues with the property. One of the bathroom toilet seats was smaller than the toilet bowl and did not fit properly. The window grills were very dusty, so we chose not to open the curtains. Shampoo was also not provided.Despite these issues, the house itself was pleasant, and we had a comfortable stay. If the privacy concerns during check-in and a few maintenance details were addressed, I would have rated the experience much higher."
