On the Bay #103 is a bright and spacious 3-bedroom, 3-bath ground-floor condo nestled in a lush, tropical beachfront resort in Old Man Bay. With views of the gardens and ocean, a private patio, direct access to the resort’s pool, and just steps from a protected swimming cove, this property offers the perfect blend of island tranquillity and comfort. Ideal for families or groups seeking an alternative to Seven Mile Beach, while remaining within 10 minutes of Rum Point and nearby dining.

Bedrooms
The primary bedroom includes a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with a flat-screen TV. The second bedroom offers a queen bed, and the third bedroom includes two twin beds—comfortably sleeping up to 6 guests. All rooms are furnished with fresh linens and ample closet space.

This newly furnished condo features a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a drip coffee maker, and all cookware needed for home-cooked meals. The living area includes a massive flat-panel HDTV, comfortable seating, and opens to a breezy garden patio. A washer and dryer are located inside the unit for added convenience.

On the bay

Property was very nice and is located in a quiet part of the island. Excursions are easily accessible from the Rum Point area. If you are looking to get away from the busier area of seven mile beach this is the perfect location. The beach at the property was nice but the ocean was not usable during our stay due to high winds and waves on that area of the island. There is a small ocean pool that was usable and would be great for small children. Overall great time and excellent accommodation.

Wonderful Experience!

This was a phenomenal place to stay. The private beach and lagoon were awesome with great snorkeling. The host was so responsive and always went above and beyond, especially our last day there. We will absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend some time in paradise!

Great Place to Stay

If you are looking to stay away from the crowds, you found it. The area feels safe and the condo, pool, and beach were very clean. Close to Rum Point and East End restaurants. We would definitely return.

This property was amazing, definitely recommend. We loved the privacy of the condo association but also loved being close to attractions and places to eat. We basically had the pool to ourselves and the private cove of the ocean was a big hit with our 12 year old and his 74 year old grandpa. Despite being in the middle of tropical storm Sara this November the boys spent hours, days in the water (sometimes in the rain). We hit all the local spots after much research, the trip was perfect celebrating a milestone birthday. The place itself was 'as advertised' and had so many extras. Lots of spices for cooking, bug spray, hot pot (which we used every day), nice cooking accommodations, grill, charcoal, pool toys, beach chairs, fuzzy blanket, kitties to feed. Local management on site was attentive to our needs and communication was spectacular. It really was perfect, wish we could have stayed longer! I would definitely return.

Relaxing getaway!

Loved our stay at On the Bay! Excellent location away from all the hustle and bustle of George Town. We loved the private beach and pool. Accommodations fit our family of 5 perfectly.Kitchen had mostly everything we needed to make simple meals. No baking sheets to use in the oven but we improvised with foil. Plenty of bath and pool towels available. Definitely would stay here again!

Great Stay !!

The condo is very nice with everything you will need for a great stay. The kitchen had everything we needed. We had several meals out, but it was nice to have the kitchen to fix some of our own meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all very nice and comfortable. The outside is well maintained. The north side of the island has a problem with trash being washed up on shore, but the ground keepers keep the property very clean on a daily basis including the little cove. I would recommend this place for a great vacation spot.

Fantastic holiday

Our Condo at "On The Bay" was very spacious, clean and well appointed and suited our family requirements. For us the location both on the coast and near the Botanic Park was perfect. The gardens were beautifully planted and maintained. Everyone loved the pool. An early arrival by some of the family was kindly accommodated and we were helped promptly with a late query about the air conditioning. We had a marvelous time and would certainly return. Great phone away from Home

The condo is very spacious, clean, and well stocked with the basics. Beautiful property, secluded and well maintained. We learned from another condo owner that the pool is heated. A bit overkill and uncomfortable for July heat but am sure a very welcomed feature in the winter months. We love staying away from the crowds of 7 Mile Beach and still having access to good restaurants, diving, and things to do. We will definitely be back! Thank you Meg and housekeeping team. Well done.

Great Condo!

The North side is very peaceful and this condo is in a great location. It is very comfortable and spacious, has all the amenities and a scenic view as well! We enjoyed sitting on the enclosed porch with a view of the beach/ocean and the pool was just a few steps away. The complex was quiet and many times we had the pool to ourselves. We appreciated the floats, snorkel equipment, beach towels and cooler which all came in handy for visiting different beaches on the island. When we had a small problem, Craig, the property manager, was quick and helpful in resolving the issue. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at On the Bay and would highly recommend this condo!

Perfect Family Getaway

My family of 5 really enjoyed our stay. My 12, 8, and 5 year old children had a fantastic time in the pool, and walking around on the barrier by the sea. It's away from the busy city side of GC, and is very peaceful in this area. I ran several miles at sunrise from the condo, and loved how quiet the area is. Make sure you make reservations if you are going to a sit down restaurant for dinner. Even for the restaurants that seem like you wouldn't need it on a weekday, it's standard to reserve a time. This was something we learned on our first night, and didn't have an issue after that. Everywhere we ate was amazing. Would highly recommend this area and this condo if you are going to Grand Cayman.

Winter Getaway

Well maintained property. Lovely plantings. Neatly kept. The heated pool was VERY appreciated. A generous supply of loungers around the pool. The condo was modern and up to date. New applicances, thick towels, large supply of beach towels. The washer/dryer very handy and worked well. AC also never a problem. Location was right for us- quiet and not far from Rum Point. Best beach was Governor's Beach on Seven Mile Beach-crystal clear water of a dreamy blue color. Low surf but still refreshing. Best Restaurant was Ristorante Pappagallo. Enjoyed Tuttka's East End-extensive menu and fun feeding the Frigate Birds. Just an overall wonderful winter getaway.

Really windy on North side and a 30 minute trip to good shopping and better restaurants.

Got complaints about light music not loud by pool area around 1:00 pm till 3:00 pm. Told us to tone it down and right after that maintenance came threw with a real loud leaf blower. Way louder than any music we we’re playing. Really surprised by this because if you go to any resorts they play music by pool area in the afternoon.

Great xmas getaway

This condo was perfect for our family of five. The bedrooms were good size and having 3 bathrooms was perfect. The condo was super clean and fully furnished. We even had a cooler we could take on day trips. There are fans, extra bedding and blankets, lots of towels, pool floaties and beach toys for kids. The kitchen was also fully loaded with pots and pans etc. We stopped at the grocery and were able to make many meals at the condo. The screened porch was nice and the location was very convenient, about 25 feet from the pool. Nice ocean view. The north end of the island is mostly rocky, beautiful but tough to swim. There was a manmade large area the had a nice beach and good swimming/floating and playing. The location of th actual condo was fine. We knew we would be driving all over the island. We rented a car and covered everything from the turtles and dolphins (west end) to Tukka (East end) to Rum point (North end. Very easy to drive and navigate. Remember it is on the Left side of the road!!

Condo Vacation

When we arrived at Old Man Bay we were shocked to see scaffolding all along the exterior of the building. We were not told about this ahead of time nor was it mentioned in the overview. Apparently, and we found out from one of the residents, that the roof is being redone with June and won't be finished until end of September/early October (supposedly). We also lost power twice during our stay. Overall though the condo was clean and neat and had MORE THAN ENOUGH of everything you'd need. It was situated in the north middle side of the island. It was very private, which was what we need for our relaxing vacation. There wasn't so much color to the ocean where the condo is located but that was okay. The cove is rocky like the description says so make sure to wear shoes. Craig and Ms. Dale, the property managers, were great! They answered all our inquiries in a timely fashion. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Could not have asked for a more perfect place!

This was our first trip to the Cayman Islands. We knew we didn't want to be in the thick of Seven Mile Beach crowds, so opted for the quieter side of the island. And quiet was exactly what it was, and we loved it! Rum Point and West End were both close enough for us to enjoy crowds when we wanted to. The condo was about 40 min. from the airport and Seven Mile area, so keep that in mind as you plan out activities. We chose to do our stingray and sunset cruise excursions from Rum Point. The north side can get a little rough for snorkeling if the winds are up. Most of the real beaches are not on this side of the island. The property was just perfect for our family of five: two college students, a middle schooler , my husband and myself. The complex is not large, and most days we felt like we were the only people there. The pool area was lovely and almost always empty. The beach area is just gorgeous! Everything was extremely clean upon arrival and there were condiments, coffee filters, laundry and dishwashing products left behind, so please check with the manager to see what you need to get at the store first. We spent a lot unnecessarily on things that others had left behind. So we left ours behind for the next guests! There were books and games for those wanting to turn off their devices. The wifi tended to be a little slow, but we weren't there for wifi. Everyone had plenty of room and privacy. The master bed and bath are FABULOUS! Very comfortable beds as well. We usually don't sleep well away from home, but slept great here. The property manager was wonderful to work with. The entire process of checking in and out was seamless and he was helpful and quick in answering any questions. The screened in porch area is lovely for morning coffee or drinks in the evening. All in all, we could not have chosen a more perfect place for our family. It was decorated nicely with a modern, clean theme, had everything we needed and a million dollar view. So much fun

I was on this 5 day trip with my daughter and four sorority girls! We had a large time. The condo is about 50 minutes from the airport and stop at the second big Fosters grocery store near the Wendy’s. Stock up bc it’s a drive to there once you get to the condo and you won’t want to leave ! The food isn’t near as expensive as I thought it would be. The locals are wonderful, friendly and what a pleasantly safe island. The liquor stores are close by to the condo. The condo is big and larger than depicted! Plenty of space for all of us. We spent most days at the pool and in and out of the lagoon. The wind was strong so luckily the bushes block the pool area and without the lagoon there is no way we could have gotten into the ocean at the condos. The March winds were the only downfall. The lagoon is shallow and then gets deep enough that the girls could snorkel. All I could think of when I looked at the lagoon area was what an incredible spot for kids to play for days! The condo has rafts and some snorkel gear but I brought our own. The people at the condos were fun and easygoing- not minding a little music and full of info about the island. We went to rum point and walked among the starfish, went to seven mile beach and cemetery beach to snorkel, Keibo to eat as well as drinks and appetizers at Rum Point. Rum point has a gift shop also. The girls loved the condo pool/beach the best but we drove just a little to say we had been there! Thank you accurately depicting the condo on VRBO and I hope you get many more visitors from this review as you deserve it. Thanks again.

Perfect relaxing getaway

We loved staying at Old Man Bay! It was a perfect, QUIET location for our family. The condo was very spacious, and had everything we needed for our week-long stay. The beds were comfortable, there was a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and linens, beach toys/"floaties" for the pool and best of all were the beautiful views from the patio. We spent as much time outside as we could. The condo is a little bit of a drive from the main 7 Mile Beach area, but that is what we were looking for, so it was not a drawback for us. We like to be out of the typical crazy tourist parts of town. We cooked most all of our meals at the condo, and spent our days relaxing at the pool or on the beach. We had rented a car, so we were able to drive ourselves around the island to see all of the sights ourselves! We took a couple of days throughout the week to drive to the West side of the island for an excursion, and also spent a day at Cemetery beach. The one and only thing I would caution is for families visiting with very small children, (our daughter is only 17 months old): the little beach inlet area was perfect other than the 5 or 6 foot steep hill down to the actual waters edge. The pictures make it look as if the beach/sand is just a flat walk out to the water, but that is not the case currently. From the pool, you walk straight out on the sand, but then there is a drop down to the actual water. Our little one could not handle that hill on her own. Even with that being the case, I would still highly recommend this location. I am more stating this as a heads up for families with little ones. Our daughter ended up hating the sand altogether, so we landed at the pool all week which was just as amazing and still able to take in all the beautiful views. :) We would highly recommend renting this property to anyone visiting Grand Cayman, and will gladly stay again if/when we return.

Amazing!

We had the absolute best week-long stay here. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. It was in a quiet area and there was hardly anyone else around which was PERFECT for us. We never shared the pool with anyone else during our stay. We loved how close it is to Rum Point and Starfish Point. We could’ve stayed forever!
