"My husband and really I enjoyed our weeklong stay here, away from the crowds of Honolulu and Waikiki. Some people said they thought the resort was crowded, but we didn't find that true for us (we went in June). It was definitely worth the hour+ drive to stay on the North Shore. We loved all the hiking trails on the property with many "hidden" beaches all to ourselves (and a couple of turtles). We made use of the free bicycles as well, and they also have horses for those who want to ride. Our room/bathroom were spacious and comfortable, and the food at Beach House by Roy Yamaguchi was especially delicious. We hope to make the trip again someday! "

"The staff was wonderful, full of aloha spirit. The recreational area/pool was great and the lobby decor was pleasing. The planned activities and Tahitian dancers were fun and we learned about the Hawaiian and Polynesian cultures-which was very special. "

"This property was perfect for my husband and I. It was quiet when we needed a break and sleep, had a beautiful view, and high speed WiFi for online schooling. Communication to the property manager was quick and helpful. I would rent this property again if we head back to Hawaii. "

"Our family really enjoyed staying on the North Shore in this home. When contacted, Nadia was helpful and accommodating. One thing we didn’t realize was that the home had a separate condo above the garage and part of the home. Those who lived there were very respectful, we were just surprised the first night when we heard footsteps above us. This would not change our decision to stay here. It was just something we didn’t know. We also loved the backyard pool! And one of the neighbors had a band that played in the evening. It was wonderful to hear them enjoying themselves in such a beautiful place. The home had plenty of seating and space and everyone had a great time. We would love to go back!"

"Our stay we awesome. The house was sufficient and the air conditioners get the bedrooms really cold. The beach directly behind the house is nice but there is a steep drop in the beach that makes it not conducive for swimming. You need to walk down a bit to get to a usable area. Not an issue for us. The location is great and allowed easy access to everything on the north shore. I only gave 4 stars for communication bc I was confused on who I was communicating with as there seemed to be multiple people and numbers. "

"It’s a great place for a small family. There was four of us and it worked well especially with the kids being younger. We were only there to eat and sleep, so it worked. It’s a little more of a drive to restaurants and activities. We are always wanting to stay away from the bigger city and this was perfect. Great location with access to the beach. Had some basic beach equipment available to use. Hoping for future visits able to stay here again. "

"Beautiful place to stay. Plenty of room for the family to spread out. Coming from Alaska the air conditioners were on point and help us adjust easier to the heat. Appreciated the little extras like the beach gear and the lounge chairs in the front. Would definitely like to visit again in the future. "
