"Cedes was an absolute star at customer service"

"I have stayed here off and on for 5 years. First thing was they asked for my credit card to charge incidental, $40.00. If I didn't have issues, I would get it back. The second thing was my room, 218, was so covered up in strong room deodorant, it choked me, made my eyes water. It was terrible. I talked to housekeeping who stated some use strong deodorant and some use not so strong. After unpacking. All of my clothes, shoes, etc smells like it. I had to wash my clothes twice I think you...

"I stay here whenever I come to St. Louis because I know that I'll get a great room that's clean, a friendly innkeeper and his dog, and an excellent breakfast to start my day! The location is in a neighborhood right across from Benton Park. Street parking is easy peasy."

"It's an okay place"

"Very nice the separate bedroom from the living area was wonderful. This is an old historic building that has many unique features. The buffet breakfast and cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres was wonderful. It was great to just come in from a day of sightseeing and have a refreshing drink and food to eat and relax. "Stayed for a long weekend in October. Front desk staff (shout out Antoine and Duwan!) Were friendly and welcoming. Gave great recs for food and activities. Room was clean and well-stocked. Beds were 8/10 comfy but after a long day exploring I still got 10/10 rest. Location is central to so much STL has to offer and easy for rideshare pickup. Definitely get a drink on the rooftop during your stay!"

"This was a beautiful hotel. We did not realize until too late that check-in times were limited. And we really missed having a fridge in our room. The manager did let us use the fridge in the upstairs lounge but that was shared with another group of people."
