"This was our first time staying at The Sidcot since it changed from being a Premier Inn. It is still very much a Premier Inn, whether they change the look or not remains to be seen. I've given 4 out of 5 for comfort as the quilts are just too thick and warm. Other than that everything else was fine."

"Stunning bathroom plenty of room in the shower bed very comfortable only negative was the floor boards creaking when getting out of bed going to the bathroom but that was nothing serious staff excellent and the hotel very clean excellent 10 out of 10 I will definitely stay again "

"Very convenient for M5 and Taunton itself. Great parking. Hotel was quiet. Good basic food in evening and for breakfast. Buffet breakfast dishes replenished regularly. Room was fine, just a few niggles.....only one tea bag which seemed a bit mean - I am sure I could have requested more from the front desk! Bathroom a little tired but adequate."

"Gorgeous old place full of charm and character really lovely, staff amazing and helpful, bedroom was clean and well appointed. Only drawback was stairs for a disabled person were difficult!! The booking site didn’t show how to ask for a ground floor room. But I would phone the hotel direct next time I decide to visit Wells. "
