10/10 Excellent
"Stayed the one night while at the Races and greeted well at reception, sorted the room earlier than agreed check in and all was spotless. Had breakfast and met with smiles and a cracking Buffet with eggs of your choice cooked fresh. Only niggle was arrived to find 8 spaces full in the car park, was notified prior to arrival but one way streets in Salisbury on race days are one to be avoided. Others are available but are a short walk. Nice Stay though !"

"A slightly run down looking country house hotel but it was very clean, our room was very comfortable and the staff were enthusiastic and friendly. The outdoor pool was lovely and the breakfast was cooked freshly for you, much nicer than a hot buffet. We had a delicious evening meal in a small room to ourselves which was delightful A superb base for the area."

"The hotel was set in a beautiful part of the country, the receptionist was pleasant and informative. We had a lovely clean and nicely decorated room with good storage in keeping with the hotels age. The bathroom was clean and effective with a walk in shower. The room had good security on the door, a safe and fridge would make good additions.Parking was excellent."

"Have stayed here a number of times now. Great location on the river. Being able to park so near the cathedral is a real bonus. Staff always very helpful and friendly. We don't always eat at the hotel but when we have it's been good."
