"The room was okay. Nothing stood out about it. I didn't realize the bedroom was on the 2nd floor, and the steps are kind of narrow and steep. Maintenance could repair the blinds."

"We chose this hotel mainly because it was cheaper than the other hotels and closest to John PenneKamp park. The person at the front desk was very nice and allowed up to check in early. The room was very clean and the bathroom was better than we were expecting."

"The air conditioner in my room was leaking. Making the rug wet and uncomfortable. The staff came by and vacuumed, they changed my room but it still leaked. The staff was very nice and called immediately. The breakfast at Starbucks is delicious. The two guys and young lady are amazing. They were great. The parking was very convenient. Conveniently located and walking distance to everything. I would return providing they fix the AC."

"We were satisfied with the check-in process and were really excited about staying in the water bungalow for our anniversary. Unfortunately, the experience did not fully live up to what we expected for the price. Our biggest disappointment was the lack of privacy. We booked what was advertised as a private water bungalow expecting a secluded and romantic anniversary getaway. Instead, boats were able to come within just a few feet of the bungalow. At one point, people on a boat were literally sitting right outside looking directly into our bungalow! That was extremely uncomfortable and definitely took away from the private, secluded experience we thought we were paying for. We also noticed that the floors were not very clean, and unfortunately the canoe had a very unpleasant odor that smelled like feces, which made us not want to use it. There were definitely aspects of the stay that we enjoyed, and check-in went smoothly, but for the price, we expected much better cleanliness and, most importantly, actual privacy and seclusion. For an anniversary getaway marketed as a private water bungalow experience, that was a major part of what we were paying for and unfortunately what was missing."

"The home is very well equipped for an extended stay. The kitchen and upstairs wet bar were extremely well provisioned. The beds were comfortable the bathrooms clean and well provisioned. The owner provided enough information about the area, things to do and restaurants so we were able to hit the ground running.I would definitely stay there again. Cheers to Anchors Aweigh!"
