  • Tilghman Lakes by the Sea is located only steps from the beach in the Ocean Drive/Cherry Grove section of North Myrtle Beach and has easy access to the beach. YOUR RENTAL INCLUDES : 2 UMBRELLAS, 4 BEACH CHAIRS, 3 BIKES, 2 BOOGIE BOARDS, 2 SKIM BOARDS, ARTIC BEACH COOLER AND A BEACH CART FOR TRANSPORT. ALL BED AND BATHROOM LINENS ALSO INCLUDED. These low-rise Condos are only three stories high on raised stilts providing parking underneath. There is an outdoor pool, hot tub (seasonal) and grill area. Unit #C3 is located on the top (third) floor and features two large private decks with fully equipped kitchen, and full size washer/dryer, Flat screen TV's in both bedrooms and living room, Family attractions, golf & miniature golf, amusement park, water sports & fishing are all in close proximity to the Tilghman Lakes by the Sea. We rent strictly to families and mature persons over the age of 24. Property is privately owned with beach themed décor. Linens are included. No Smoking allowed in Unit, balcony, or on either side of entrance. No Pets, Boats, Motorcycles, Golf Carts, Trailers, or RV's allowed. Unit has Ring Doorbell with motion sensor for security and package delivery notifications.

Wonderful host and property

The host of this property deserves more than 5 stars, more like 10, Joe is very friendly, informative and more than accommodating. He allows use of his beach cart which is very convenient and use of beach chairs if needed. The condo is very spacious and clean and close proximity to all attractions. We can’t thank him enough for making our short getaway relaxing. 10/10 recommend booking, we definitely will be looking to book again soon!

Perfect location. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub on the property. Also had fun bike riding. You can walk to grocery store if you need a few items as well as a few restaurants.Would recommend to others.Jo communicated with us several times to ensure a smooth check-in.

Amazing experience

The property is perfect, from location to amenities. By far the best place we've stayed at in NMB. Mr Joe was incredibly helpful and responsive. Though tropical storm Debby cut our trip short, it was still an amazing time. We can't wait to come back next summer! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Very generous and accommodating

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Joe's place. Everything was clean and so thankful they allowed us to use beach chairs and umbrellas. Bikes were also available but we did not use but just one. Joe was extremely nice and thoughtful in all is communication. I would definitely stay there again. If you want a great place to stay and at a great price this is it.

Nice place to stay for vacation

The place gave a cozy beach vibe. Our host was more than accommodating and understanding. He offered us to check in a day earlier if that was convenient for my family. Also checking in throughout our trip to see if we needed anything. The location was perfect! Literally across the street from the beach. Just keep in mind our place was 30 min from the strip/boardwalk. But overall I enjoyed my stay.

We had a wonderful stay! Location was perfect! Joe the owner was very responsive to our needs. Just a really really great guy. Everything was provided including beach chairs, etc. The furnishings in this unit are very comfortable. We have never had living room furniture this comfortable in a rental. Even had a fireplace. Tilghman Lakes at Cherry Grove Beach

The location was absolutely perfect. The Cherry Grove Beach area is our favorite place to stay. The rental unit had every amenity you could possibly need for a beach vacation. Communication with the owner was a very pleasant experience. Instructions were clear and any questions were quickly answered. Restaurant recommendations were greatly appreciated! - I highly recommend Villa Tuscanna, food and waitstaff were excellent (but make a reservation). Played Eagle Nest Golf Club for the first time. Better than expected; will certainly play there again.

PERFECT BEACH VACATION SPOT!

We LOVED this property. This was our first time in this unit and our first time at Tilghman Lakes. This community was a private spot but close to lots of stores, restaurants, activities, etc. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and very clean! Public access to the beach was only a few steps away - so convenient! The unit was clean and well-maintained! It had everything we needed and all was in perfect working order. Lots of space and the beds were very comfortable. The owner also provided several beach amenities which we utilized - chairs, cooler, umbrellas, etc. We felt this unit was well-appointed and loved sitting at the high-top table on the front porch where we could feel the ocean breeze in the morning! Communication with the owner was top-notch. Any questions we had were answered quickly and with a cheerful attitude. We will be back!

Comfortable Condo with Great Owner!

My older kids (13 and 11) and I really enjoyed our stay at Joe's condo. It's obvious that this is a beloved family getaway in addition to him sharing it with all of us lucky renters. Joe called me two days before check-in just to make sure we didn't have any questions, and to wish us a nice trip. That was very heartening, having never stayed at the condo before! The check-in and check-out were very easy and all done via text with Joe. His check-out instructions in particular were some of the simplest and easiest I've encountered. The condo was warm, welcoming and well-appointed, and the ability to use the extra beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, etc. was fantastic. The pool was very nice. My one caveat would be for parents of young children who need to nap during the day, or light sleepers who want to go to bed before 11 pm. Music from the neighboring hotel's pool area plays from about 10 am - 11 pm every day (maybe only during the summer?), and the bedrooms are close enough that it could be disruptive without the proper precautions (ear plus, white noise machines, etc.). Luckily it wasn't an issue for us!

We were in town for a softball location, the condo was the perfect location. Close to the fields, within walking distance to stores, restaurants, just across the road from the ocean. Loved having a pool to choose fron as well. Would definitely stay again. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The host was amazing and made sure we had an excellent stay.

We had a very good experience. The property was in a great location with easy access to the beach. We enjoyed the outdoor seating and the accompanying breezes. All appliances were in good working order. Seating and beds were comfortable and in good condition. Would definitely go back to this location again.
