The pond is beautiful and the fishing was outstanding, we caught fish all day long. Location is good as well, with plenty of restaurants and downtown Augusta within 10 to 15 minutes. "We came here with a large contingent, and even though the house has only two bedrooms, don't let that fool you. It is quite roomy, and we easily slept seven people in the house. The views from the upstairs bedroom windows and balcony are wonderful. The owners are in their own house on site, are there when you need them, but give you your privacy as well. Lovely place to stay. I would recommend it to others enthusiastically."

"We attended my niece wedding ay Kings Hill Inn and stayed at this home in Sumner Maine. We were 15 minutes from the venue. Our rental was perfect! Well stocked. We had everything you could possibly need to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommend!!"

"This house was the perfect location to stay for Bates College graduation weekend. The location is close to everything; the setting is perfect; the amenities listed were all at the house. Check-in and Check-out were simple. The request to consolidate garbage in big bags was easy, as there were plenty of the larger size and we were able to put all our garbage in 2 bags. Plenty of parking (we were a family of 8 traveling from different states and easily fit 4 vehicles in the allotted space. I would...

"We had a great time meeting up with family. The house was well stocked, plenty of stores nearby for shopping. The hot tub was a hit! The property is beautiful and the host was very helpful. They came and dug us out from a snow storm!"

"We truly enjoyed the overwhelming peace and quiet on Wilson Pond. And the gorgeous view!!! Access to the 2 kayaks and x-large canoe was huge benefit and that you can access another nearby lake/Dexter Pond that has awesome beauty was special. The layout of the home is very comfortable and easy. Great kitchen! We loved the garden like/in-the-woods feel to the surrounding landscape.Very special."

"Was in the area on business for 2 weeks. House was a lot nicer to come to after meetings than a hotel room. Lots of room in the house, Roku TV's in the 3 bedrooms and main living room. Nice outdoor space and all season room. Beds were comfy. Pillows could have been better. Very thin in my opinion. The back bedroom was good, the front bedroom has some challenges.
