"Just enjoyed a great stay with friends at Christine's cute, clean bungalow. Home has added touches to make one feel like staying a while. Kitchen was well-equipped. Massage chair was a bonus. Kayaking on the calm lake was a highlight. Roasting smokies and s'mores around the fire while watching the breath-taking sunset over the lake was a great way to end the evening! Christine is quick to respond with any questions. I hope to be back!"

"A very, very helpful and friendly staff who were always available, if you needed extra towels, etc. It is an older hotel but they are doing vast remodeling. I would definitely stay there again."

"The only complaint we had was our room smelled like cigarette smoke. It was overwhelming when I first got there-enough that my throat burned for most of the evening. Also, our room phone didn’t work. The breakfast and coffee were exceptional."

"Staff was super friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 107 and it smelled like mold and mildew and the room felt damp. We were staying there because we were at a dirtbike race that weekend so we were just there to shower and sleep. It was close to the track and kept us from sleeping in a tent!"

"We booked this place to visit our daughter attending nearby Grace College.I cannot say enough great things about the owners and property.Communication was excellent and amenities were lovely…it felt like a home away from home. We are seasoned travelers and my biggest thing is cleanliness. This was spotless and well cared for. We also hardly ever left. We went to campus and volleyball games, but otherwise stayed there and cooked and relaxed.A lovely bonus is that the mattresses and pillows were so good that when we striped the sheets, I photographed the tags so I could buy them at home. My only notes to other travelers…there are not many dinner options nearby, especially if you are without a car. Good thing the kitchen (and outdoor grill) has all the things you need aside from groceries lol.10/10 I highly recommend and we will be back again. We honestly look forward to visiting our daughter here for the next few years many times :-)"
