The hotel and the team from , reception to housekeeping to restaurant team were perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. "We stayed as we are renovating after a house move and the plasterer had taken over the house. It was a welcome break from the daily work of clearing up after tradesmen! The staff were lovely and the food good. We may be back - depending on how things progress at home!"

"Lovely attentive, helpful.and very patient staff. Our bed was really comfortable. Our room did look over the cathedral, which does mean the bells do wake you up at 7am! Still, it is lovely to be close to this amazing, historic building. Location amongst individual shops, which are a bit different, the cathedral and the castle is a real bomus."
