Charming cottage, wonderful hosts!!Two over-60 grandmas, one from CT and one from MA met to sit in front of the fire with a cup of tea and catch up. This was the perfect setting to simply retreat and relax.

We had a wonderful overnight visit. The fireplace and the warm beds were a perfect night away from the family over the holiday. Thank you for making our anniversary special.

We enjoyed a much needed weekend of R&R at Windy Top. It is wonderfully quiet and so enjoyable to brew some tea, read & sit by the fire. Thoughtful touches throughout the cottage make it the perfect spot for a relaxing, cozy, getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Windy Top Cottage. The owners were responsive and kind and answered any questions we had. The cottage was like something out of a storybook. It was quaint, peaceful, and welcoming. The beds were very comfy. We loved the old board games, books, and cozy fireplace. The decor had so many special touches. You can tell Ken and Dawn take pride in their home and enjoy sharing it with others. We would definitely considering visiting again!

This was a quick overnight for us, visiting family nearby and out to dinner, and still it felt like we'd escaped to a different time and place, yet with full amenities. Amazing. I wanted to stay up all night reading by the fire but forced myself to bed, to discover the king size i'd only had time to glance at was a luxurious heated nest. Morning by the fire, luxurious coffee and tea options, served breakfast (for extra charge- worth it!) and i was ready to face the drive home. I look forward to booking again when we can stay longer and explore nearby hikes. What a delight. Owners very responsive and helpful but plenty of privacy. Read what they send, ask questions/generally stay in touch and you'll be good.

Everything about our stay was fabulous- from leaving the lights on to welcome us with a personalized sign to excellent coffee service and a picnic lunch! Our hosts were so accommodating and so very welcoming. The location was great for us to drive to travel to neighboring cities, and relaxing at the cottage was a great way to end our days of exploring. The master bed was so comfortable (and refreshing after a long day of driving when our flight got cancelled!). There was excellent wi-fi also so we could still connect when we needed to, we would recommend Windy Top to anyone!!

Windy Top Cottage was the perfect place to stay while attending a conference near Springfield, MA. It was so peaceful and quiet - just what I needed after a long day. Dawn and Ken were so kind and every detail in the cottage is a reflection of their generous nature and loving care they give to the cottage. An absolutely amazing place to stay.

Situated in a rural area of Connecticut, this English-syle cottage is a gem. Furnishings and wall art were thoughtfully displayed through-out. The gas-fired fireplace added a warm (needed that spring week-end!) glow. Enjoyed thoroughly.

This was the best thing I’ve done in a long time. The kuels are very attentive to the needs of their guests and very helpful. It’s a great quiet place to relax and unwind from the stress of life. The proximity to hiking is incredibly close to the cottage. If my travels allow me, I will have to come back here.

This was the perfect one-night getaway for two busy moms. The decor was cozy and inviting, and the fireplace and remote-controlled candles gave the cottage a wonderful ambiance. The beds we comfortable too. Having a refrigerator and some appliances was very handy despite there being no kitchen. We will definitely be back!

We are so fortunate to have found the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. Windy Top Cottage is a treasure. Every detail made us feel welcome and pampered. Granby provided plenty of fun and excitement, and it was a joy to return to our beautiful, cozy cottage after our busy days exploring. Just loved it!

This was just what was needed for a romantic getaway close to home. The cottage is so lovely we didn't even leave for dinner. We had the wine and cheese plate after a late lunch and it took us through the night. The perfect escape from this modern, chaotic world.

Ken and Dawn were amazing, accommodating hosts who really went the extra mile for us with their communication and hospitality. The house was perfectly quiet, clean, and extra-cozy with the fire already going for us and the beds warmed via special mattress covers. We were delighted by everything, and we were sorry to leave.

This is such a lovely cottage! It was cozy, comfortable, clean, and charming-the 4 C's!
Ken and his wife Dawn went out of their way to welcome us, and made sure we were well taken care of. Dawn has done a fabulous job decorating the cottage, so many fun details from robes and slippers to a variety of goodies in pretty glass jars.
Thank you, thank you, Ken and Dawn. We look forward to staying with you again sometime!

The place was exactly as it was on the advert. A quintessential cottage in the middle of greenery.
Attention to details was impeccable. I loved most having a jar of honey in addition to the usual white sugar, Splenda and Equal as sweeteners; box of tissues on all bedside tables; supply of plush 2-ply toilet paper instead of a single ply … these minute details were greatly appreciated!
We had a grand time! It was a cozy, quiet and comfortable respite from our daily concrete jungle routine.
Many thanks, Dawn & Ken.

This stay was one of the best stays we've had for a rental. The location was in a beautiful neighborhood but also close to wonderful restaurants, hiking, and shopping. The cottage was so cute and cozy!! We arrived to some relaxing music, the fireplace on, and a yummy cake (we were celebrating my husband's 50th). There was a lovely coffee station with a couple of different machines and many options for coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. Although there was no kitchen, there was a fridge and a toaster oven and all the things you would need for a shorter stay. The bedding was great quality, and the bathroom was totally stocked with everything you could possibly need or may have forgotten. The hosts were nearby and there for questions but gave you all the privacy you needed. I would highly recommend this property and hosts and hope to come back again!

There really are no words to describe this place. From the moment we opened the door and heard the sound of soft music and smelled the sweet scent of freshly cut flowers, we knew we found our little piece of heaven. This is the most adorable stone cottage you'll ever find and the perfect place to disconnect from the world. Ken and Dawn are such nice people and it's evident that a lot of love has gone into this place. My husband and I only stayed one night which we discovered was not long enough. Make sure when reserving to stay at least 2 nights. To prove our point, we ended up purchasing a 2 night gift certificate for our son and daughter-in-law after our stay! : )
