"Very convenient for M5 and Taunton itself. Great parking. Hotel was quiet. Good basic food in evening and for breakfast. Buffet breakfast dishes replenished regularly. Room was fine, just a few niggles.....only one tea bag which seemed a bit mean - I am sure I could have requested more from the front desk! Bathroom a little tired but adequate."

The booking site didn’t show how to ask for a ground floor room. But I would phone the hotel direct next time I decide to visit Wells. "
