"Had a great stay and would go there again without a doubt. Nice staff and a very nicely remodeled property both inside and out. When some places paint the walls, they say they have remodeled, but Equus really put forth some effort and money in their remodeling. Sliding glass shower doors, modern sinks, a very comfortable bed, and a beautiful courtyard. My wife and I have not seen an older hotel that this much time and effort was made in the remodeling. We will stay there again if we pass through this way."

"We stayed for a few days for a family event. The hotel was wonderful, all the staff were great. Everything was clean and well taken care of. We will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend. Close by everything in Gainesville."

"Surprisingly good facility! Efficient and friendly front desk. Room was very nice. First time traveling with a pet, so received a "pet friendly" room, no carpet and nice area near a wall for our doggy bed. Quiet even though the Interstate was about 100 yards from the window. We often stay with Red Roof, and this was probably the nicest one we have stayed at."
