"Fraser Suites is a great property for this who want to be in easy walking distance of sights in Edinburgh. It is just off the Royal Mile, an easy walk to the castle, St Giles cathedral, the Scot Monument, Princes Street Gardens and Victoria Street. There are tons of dining options just steps away from the hotel doors. The staff was welcoming and helpful and the room was comfortable for our family of three. "

"I liked but didn’t love the stay at this hotel . Things we liked : clean, spacious, having a washer, nice and walkable center. I didn’t like the fact that we had trouble with the hot water the first day and night and, overall, I expected more from a 5 star hotel ( daily room keeping ?! ). Probably we won’t return as we really loved the 4 star place we stayed before but they were booked when we decided to stay longer so we had to find another hotel. "

"Nice modern upscale accommodation but the tv did not work during our 2 night stay and the repair people did not show up at all. Not good enough considering the price they are charging. They did provide a refund because of this but the repair people need to be more responsive or get new ones."

"Cons: Property is old and in need of updating. I was in building 15 and the FLOORS creak so badly it wakes everyone up. No good if you have babies and no good when everyone is tired. All furniture shows wear and staining. The showers don’t drain and are hard to figure out and one shower super tiny. No directions for anything. The microwave/stove unlike anything I’ve seen so I had to get help. Directions would have helped. Pros: staff is awesome. Location is perfect. I had plenty of heat and...

"Loved the location 2 min walk to Waverely station. I liked that it wasn’t in the royal mile district and has the shopping mall across the street. Also had a view of Caldon hill from our window. Front desk was very friendly and let us check in early. Suite was a bit tired inside compared to pictures but wasn’t a problem at all and very clean. No water in the room but there was milk for tea. Would highly recommend"

"What a wonderful place! The building (a crescent) was beautiful. The apartment was very comfortable. The host was super friendly and helpful. It’s a decent walk to Princes Street… just over the Dean Bridge on the edge of Dean Village (a must-see). We will definitely return. Highly recommended!!!"

"On a 2 week Euro-trip, this was my fav stay. The staff was friendly, the place was easy to navigate. No issues with any outlets or appliances. Shopping & food was closeby - we didn't use transit once just because it was THAT walkable. Will def be coming back the next time I come to Edinburgh. Will also look into other Sonder properties when traveling!"

""Apartment" is overselling what is a wing of 6 dorm rooms with a shared kitchen and two bathrooms. You get all the noise (slamming doors, hearing neighboring 'apartment' conversations) of dormitory living - but the location is excellent for central Edinburgh."
