"Great stay, staff was amazing, room was clean."
Wyndham Garden Lake Guntersville
10/10 Excellent
"We only had one night, but it was so fun to have a room right next to the edge of the lake."
Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Cullman
8/10 Good
"Clean room. The breakfast area was very small."
Days Inn by Wyndham Muscle Shoals Florence
10/10 Excellent
"For an older motel set up, this was actually quite nice. It has been renovated tastefully. The free breakfast included sausage patties and egg patties to make a nice breakfast sandwich on a biscuit. They also have the waffle maker and a couple of flavors of yogurt. Sheets and towels were clean. Parking is available and free. We grabbed our hanging clothes when we left and accidentally took one of their nice wooden hangers. I called to apologize, and they were very nice about the accident. The people in the next room were loud, so it is not the most sound-proof, but not too bad."
Comfort Inn & Suites River City Decatur
8/10 Good
"Nice breakfast, room was clean and good size! Will book again when traveling. Thanks!"
106 Jefferson Huntsville, Curio Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"For starters, we stayed at 106 Jefferson Curio Hotel by Hilton in Huntsville as it was central to downtown for walking and it touted a first-rate restaurant called The Revivalist. The hotel itself is convenient, beautiful, and within walking distance to one of the best Italian restaurants ever, Mazzara's. The Revivalist on site is indeed exceptional, where we enjoyed the main bar, the rooftop bar, breakfast, and dinner for our four-day stay. They serve the best coffee, called The Sunrise Blend, by a local shop called The Foundry, so we had to order some when we got home. The main purpose of the trip to "Rocket City" was to visit the U.S. Space and Rocket Center Museum containing artifacts of the Apollo missions, numerous narated exhibits, as well as an IMAX theater featuring different topics; ours was Our Place in the Universe--absolutely amazing! To conclude, the front desk staff at the hotel (specifically, Chris and Jackson) were extremely helpful on several occasions, and very kind, professional, and friendly. The hotel is about a 10-minute ride to/from the museum on the freeway. We expect Huntsville will only grow with all the upcoming construction and space projects planned there. Friendly place, and surrounded by rolling hills. Very pretty. We highly recommend the total experience to everyone. The Nelsons, Nashville, TN (2-hr. drive--take I-65 versus the "back route")"
Embassy Suites by Hilton Huntsville
10/10 Excellent
"The staff were all helpful and professional. The room was very nice and clean."
Woodspring Suites Huntsville - Research Park
8/10 Good
"Overall, it was a fine stay, but they gave away our room so booked us in their sister hotel right next door. Then it took awhile to check-in because of that (arrived at 8:30pm and didn't get into our room till after 9pm as they sorted out the rate and transfer). The staff was helpful though. The room layout was a bit odd in terms of where the desk was located, but it was on tollers so at least we could move it to make it work."
The Stricklin Hotel
8/10 Good
"Nice, renovated boutique hotel. Great location! Parking on the street was no problem.. Lots disruptive noise on weekends from club next door."
