"What an amazing time we had at Paula’s place in Woody Point! Everything was perfect! If you are visiting Gros Morne with a group of friends or family I would highly recommend this place. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook up some good meals. The views from the kitchen and living areas were amazing, from the morning sun rise to sun set the deck was a great place to hang out. The 2 bedrooms up and 2 bedrooms down provided privacy for everyone and the beds were comfy too! The location is great, albeit we did need to drive 1 hour to get to Gros Morne Mountain and Rocky Harbour but there was also lots to do in Woody Point and Trout River as well so overall the location was great. We have just returned and can not wait to go back!"

"We enjoyed a fun kitchen party at the pub and tasty cuisine with great sunset views at the upstairs restaurant. Perfect location for visiting the seemingly endless Gros Morne National Park. The water station with multiple options of filtered water was a fantastic feature. Great water pressure in the shower. Easy parking and check-in. The surrounding area has plenty of other dining options within a short walk. "

"The Blackfin is right in the heart of everything. Hiking trails are close by and easy to get to. The rental itself is fully equipped, warm and very homey. We could all see ourselves living there. Urve, our host is a lovely lady and a very talented glass artist. Everyone we met was so friendly and provided lots of info on things to see and do in town and beyond. "

"It was fortunate to find this wonderful rental at the last minute. Thistle House is located on the doorstep of Gros Morne National Park, and is conveniently located for exploration of all park activities, while still close to services in Deer Lake. The house is equipped with everything one would need for a relaxing stay. It is clean, comfortable and homey. Stacey is a wonderful and communicative host, and she rescued our vacation when our planned rental at a different property canceled due to water issues just 2 hours before we were to check in. Thistle House and our host rate 10 out of 10!"
