"Very good location and place. Highly recommended. (Some concrete information on the residence website would be helpful to those WITHOUT cars: - The train station is a solid 15-18 minute brisk WALK from the residence. Taxis/Uber NOT AVAILABLE in this area. - The concierge was VERY HELPFUL is dropping us to the station in the early morning (we had TWO full bags). - Excellent train service to Roma Termini. (Last trains about 9 PM so be careful if you plan to stay late night in Rome, huh!) "

"The property and hosts exceeded all expectations. "We've had a lovely stay at this villa. Best way I can describe it is as an authentic Italian experience well away from tourists and the beaten track. Easy to get to Rome though ( train from Zagarolo ) and we can recommend the Hydromania water park too, a 40 minute drive away. We spent most of our time relaxing and the pool was brilliant for our children and we hardly spent any time indoors. A big thanks to the owner PierPaolo and to Angelo the gardener."

"Hotel Castel Gandalfo has a beautiful view out over the lake. Daniel and the rest of the staff were very helpful in advance and upon arrival. Just a few minutes walk to the Castel Gandalfo train station and a 30 minute ride into the Rome Termini station where you can take a subway to all landmarks. The hotel provides a delicious breakfast too."
