"My family LOVED this place. The room was very large, clean, with excellent views. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the public baths. It was nice soaking in the mineral waters after a long day walking. It relaxed my muscles. Breakfast was really good, too. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!!!"

"An unusual property the entire floor in the building is covered by tatami-like mat so everybody needs to take shoes off on the first floor. The onsen bath room is on the 13th floor with a good Takayama town view."

"Good stay at the hotel. The Japanese rooms were amazing and we had a great vegetarian kaiseki dinner and really enjoyed the onsens. Would defintely recommend staying at this hotel. Only issue is transport to the location is a bit difficult if you don't have a car. We were aware of this and messaged ahead to ask about the availability of the hotel shuttle bus to the bus stop for our departure. Unfortunately, when we arrived the receptionist was unaware they had a shuttle bus and was very unwilling to check the information we were given or even help us sort out alternative travel. It led to a bit of a concerning situation for our travel plans before another staff memeber corrected her and arranged our transport."
