"Loved staying here! You get a little plug socket by your bed with usb plugs which is fantastic! The staff were super friendly & the vibe of the whole place is chill. Didn’t realise they had two separate buildings either! Would’ve loved if the bathroom&toilets were cleaned each day as I saw the same marks as when I had arrived. "For what it is (a hostel), it is great! Staff were responsive, great location, especially around art week, and museums (if you have the time for it). Location is near a zoo Artis, so there are surprisingly unique birds clustered together. "

"This hostel met all of our needs. It is right on the edge of then Red Light District, so quiet a lot of people around, tough to drive to because of the very narrow streets & masses of people. They had a valet service to park our car, but was $45/day. Lots to do and see from this location within 30 min of walking. No elevator in the building, so be prepared to lug your bags up several of flights of stairs. "

"The place is very clean and there’s always a staff member available. However, because there’s a nightclub behind the building, and it’s open 6 days a week, it’s very loud between 8pm and 3-4am. BRING EARPLUGS!! There’s also a pool hall above. The showers don’t have temperature control and they turn off every 20 seconds or so so you have to keep touching the sensor. The same with the light in the shower room so you have to keep stepping out of the shower to reactivate the light. Also, toilets...
