"We really enjoyed our time at A Beach Retreat! The location is unbeatable, just steps from the beach and easy to find. Our room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Parking was easy and stress-free. The staff was friendly and helpful, and even the other guests were warm and easy to talk to. It had a laid-back, welcoming vibe. The hotel is also conveniently close to lots of restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. We were there for the FoxLea Horseshow and this was only about 10mins away, easy to get to and the grounds were really pretty. We ran out of time and didn't get to enjoy the amenities - like the pool or volleyball - but they sounded super fun :) Bedding and linens were great and plenty. Felt super safe.The second bedroom was a bit warm (it was a HOT April) but we moved the living room floor fan to the back area and it was fine. "

"This is absolutely NOT anything as it is listed. This is a garage turned into an efficiency in someone’s private home. There are NO windows, NO A/C, NO access to the beach. I suppose there may be a pool, however you need to go down the road to find it. Also, the homeowners live in the house above you and you can hear their children and

The property is older, it’s like staying in an old Florida bungalow, which was fine with us, because we were on the beach! "This was a great unit - clean, freshly remodeled, quiet & comfy. There was a sweet treat for us when we arrived and beach chairs available too. In addition, the owner was really nice & immediately available when we needed him which gave us peace of mind. VRBO listed this property on Casey Key but it's actually on the mainland which was a little disappointing. However, the location was really convenient to a couple of restaurants and Nokomis beach in walking distance, and easy access to Tamiami...
