"Lovely small hotel. Friendly and welcoming, clean and comfortable. Great choice of continental breakfast at 10€. There is no lift but we don't mind stairs and didn't have heavy bags. We both slept well in comfort. Air conditioning worked well. Good quiet location in a picturesque little town. Highly recommended. "

"Very good hotel in excellent location for easy walking access to Bergerac, including the old town. Didn’t try breakfast as had an early flight. Room was very comfortable, with aircon and fridge a godsend in 33C. Unfortunately didn’t get chance to use pool as only in Bergerac for 1 day. Note: no reception after about 9pm, but door code provided. "

"Horrible checkin process. Also your room has to pass inspection before you check-out or your 100 euro deposit is not refunded. Also you have to make and strip beds and haul the sheets and towels out."

The property itself was excellent - perfect location, tastefully decorated, well-equipped and very clean. It was also ideally situated for exploring the many sights of interest in the Perigord Noir and its surrounding areas. We would certainly recommend La p'tite bergerie."
